Factory heat shields.

I just dropped my headers off today to get thermal coated, and I've got the protective heat wrap for the O2 sensor wires and the clutch line. Can I go ahead and pull heat shields or should I leave them? Maybe just have the shop tighten everything down while they're accessable?
