Random Tech Bullet Cats

Do 3" Random Tech bullet cats slip fit on 3" OD header collectors or do they require a flange connection or butt welded?

The 3" RT cats slip fit on the header collectors. Here is a mock-up picture of my setup.

Thanks Nick,I was looking over your article about installing headers on your 94 Z. How did you go about adapting the 3" diameter headers and cats to the 2.5" diameter pipes of the Corsa system?

You need 3" inside diameter on the inlet side and then 2.5" outside diameter on the outlet side. Don't expect the pieces to fit, you will need to have the pipe worked over.

Per my e-mail, the exhaust shop I used to weld everything up simply modified the Corsa "s" pipes by adding some reducers so they would weld directly to the back of the Random Tech cats. From there, the reducers neck down from 3" to 2.5" to match the Corsa system. Have fun! :cheers:
