I need a plenum gasket, but the local GM dealer gave me a bum # (and I now have an non-refundable set of L98 plenum gaskets... ) Where could one find a list of GM part numbers, or more to the point, does anyone either have a set they would sell me or at least know the number??
TIA,
P.

Send Jeffvette a PM, he's got 'em.
Here's his web page:

There are a few other places you can get them but Jeffie's your best bet.

To answer your second question, Registery membership gets you all the part numbers. Just a little perk.

That's a great perk too. I use it all the time.

Lee, did you thank NHRA397.
Thanks to him we have all the LT5 gaskets at reasonable pricing and
Made in America.
By the way they have every single gasket for the LT5 motor.
All but one gasket, i will have to run that one over to them.
There gaskets work great i've had them on my motor with no issues.

Jeff will usually match prices of the top sellers. Tom Henry and so on.

If they were the ones who looked up the number, they should give you your money back. You asked for plenum gaskets for your car, which is not what they sold you.
Edit: or did you just get the number from them, but buy elsewhere?

Hey Ryan, I'll get back with you tonight on gaskets. Back in the states and looking at the boxes that were on my doorstep.

At my local Chevy dealer all "special order" parts (i.e. anything they don't stock) must be paid for in advance, including shipping, and it is NOT REFUNDABLE nor returnable, even if they made the mistake and order the wrong part. Don't ask how I found out about this "policy".
Needless to say, I do very little business with their parts department, even if I know they have the part in stock and we have 4 Chevys (2 Vettes, Tahoe, and S10 truck).
