Anyone know much about a C beam plate somewhere located in the drivetrain to help ensure the halfshafts or life of the drivetrain. I was emailed about how I should look into having this part installed and I'm really not sure what it is, i just know Haibeck does it. Any info is great!

Thanks!

I have these for sale for $145 shipped to your door.

I have been helping bill sell them for years and have installed
them on 4 zr-1s they make a noticeable difference in the way
the car performs. helps stiffen the beam mounts, helps the bolts stay
tight, and makes the car track straighter getting on it

Hi Ron,

I think that I have the first C-beam plate that Bill made. He sent it to me to test on #364. It is not as smooth as the later versions but worked better than expected. I would suggest that any Z owner get one. It really helped expedite the removal and installation of trans, engine and clutch. Since that was done fairly often in my car, it was a great addition to the car. It also helped in the performance of the car. Made the trans stay in one place and stiffened up the whole drive train. He asked me to test the plate as he figured that I would give it a test in nearly all types of applications of racing and street driving. I was putting nearly 20K miles a year on my Z at that time and racing in all types of venues. It never failed and worked just as it should.

Curtis

PS: I kept the plate off #364 and will install it on my next Z.

hey curtis!!! glad you like the plates too. folks curtis did a fair amount of "spirited" driving (like over 200 mph!!!) and speaks the truth.

I will bring my last set down and can take orders if this set sells.

cya!!
