he is in coneticut and I turned the car back to stock.
I believe it has the original Eprom installed as I never changed it but I dont remember exactly which one it had.

So what do you think swap out the chip for a heibeck ship?

thats what I think but need some help so we can help Lou!

johnny

Ok Im working on getting him here but a little about the car,

I replace all the injectors on this motor and returned the car back to stock it is completely stock and I mean the original Eprom from what I found out via the codes.

I have always believe that this car was a bit rich due to my dyno run but didnt address it becuase I added headers after and left it alone.

I think this car needs a new chip but I just never had a issue since we dont sniff in NC for pre obd2 autos.

I want to help him out so can someone hiebeck or cory burn a generic chip to help with this.

Not trying to be a wise guy.....I'm in NYS, westchester county, which is real close to CT....I'll lend assistance if the owner sees the need for it...just an offer to help if the owner is a bit hesitant about working on this alone. If I'm outta line on this I apologize....not trying to insinuate that the owner doesn't know how to work on his car.:o

have mt2500 & will travel! Any excuse for a road trip in the Z!

Tom, a good friend of mine is a chef at Westchester yacht club. Maybe we should try to set up a north east gathering at some point. Too bad Ron H. left Rhode Island.

Well this will be another emissions test post shortly...I will be taking my ZR-1 in for Virginia emissions testing on Monday (need to get State license plate)...I have the Haibeck chip. Will let all know of results and hoping all will pass with flying colors:thumbsup:

Whatever results I will scan in the emissions report so we can see what is happening.

I'm down for that! No need to twist my arm to get me & my Z out on the road!

boy if the OO of my car ever gets wind of my usage of his Z, he might shoot me! He had some second thoughts when the transporter picked up my, err..his...Z. He called me to ask if I was gonna resell his toy...I told him that I wanted a ZR-1 & if I ever have a mind to sell I'll call him & he gets first shot. I doubt that he'd want it back after I'm thru driving it all over creation!:sign10:

Good luck Michael. I got a notice yesterday that MD wants my Z for an emissions test. I'm going to have to apply for an extension; car is still in Chicago!

Im working on getting him over here.

BTW I posted a thread for everyone to come over here and it was edited and locked.

The Cvette forum is trash now it has to many people and to little moderation so they lock everything total BS

Heheh, Nick you blocked out your VIN, but we know from your signature your car is 1994 #107, which is everything one would need to determine the VIN. :)

Also we now know you roll with at least $15 cash money in your pockets! :D What's the "horsepower: 10.1" mean?

:mrgreen: Yeah... But I don't think we're the ones he's worried about! He's probably just afraid of those hooligans on the Corvette forum stealing his identity!

And given that, you're my prime suspect if anything happens! :D

I was wondering about the 10.1 myself...:icon_scra

:hello: Tom, thanks for the offer. I might take you up on it if it fails again. Beyond that I'm close to you in Norwalk,Ct. Anytime you want come on up. Or maybe as suggested we should get a N.E. Z gathering.

Hi Louis!:hello: :handshak:

No problem....anytime. I'm not as caught up as some of the guys here on the LT5 curve....but I have a scanner & a 90 FSM & a willing spirit...:sign10:

Norwalk is in the neighborhood....hop, skip & a jump up 95...oh yea. I'm down for a N. E. gathering!

If you get squared away, the CT guys from the CF northeast events section run some very sweet CT runs....check it out...maybe you could join in...if that's your bag, I mean. We did a few last yr & they were some outstandingly good times....although I'm not hard to entertain...all ya gotta say is "we're gonna take our vettes & go on this run" and I'm down with that!
