If I ever get mine back together again I just might go again. Haven't been for the last couple of years. Lots of new people to meet:handshak:

Ill be in Iraq

It seems to me its less of a ZR-1 gathering as it is a C-4 gathering so its not really ours anymore not that it is bad but we dont have the tightness of it just being ZR-1 guys it has been fun with the GS bubbas but now that it is open to everyone not very interested really I want a ZR-1 gathering

What is this BG you are speaking of? I would like to join my Chicagoland ZR-1 brothers. However, with my marriage on Feb. 10, things are going to be kinda tight for me for a while.

Can't make it - the Mrs has other plans for mother's day. Some whiny story about wanting to be with our son and the new grandchild. blah, blah, blah...

Huh huh... Where's the dunce cap for me?! Yeah, I'll actually be at Bowling Green for that. I'm intending to go w/ my dad because he's got a C4 so we can cruise together.

But, I'd definitely be interested in coming down with some of my Chicagoland ZR-1 brothers as well! Maybe we can blow my dad's doors off together!

My Las Vegas meeting was moved up to the week before through the first weekend of May. I might be able to drive up, but I have a lot going on and it will be a stretch for me now.

I can't swing it again this year. Trying to get to a C3VR (http://www.c3vr.com) gathering in Hot Springs, AR in mid-April which will probably shoot the Corvette out-of-state travel budget for the year.

Yes I am. You were given permission from the ball and chain to go this year. I think she wants you out of the house.

Jeff-

I noticed the Rose City annual event is Aug 1-3, I believe that is also the date of the PNWZR-1 gathering. I thought the two events were not overlapping this year?

That's what I mean. When I'm looking at this sign up sheet with all these lunches and stuff, I'm not sure what to pay for and what to hold off on. So what are you Registry guys doing? :happy1:

Honestly, the only thing you need to sign up for is the drag racing (if you are doing it) and then also the banquet on saturday night if you are going to be around. Everything else is just show up.

I just got reservations at the University Plaza Holiday Inn. I'll be sharing the room with my dad and we should be down there by Thursday afternoon.

If the stars align and I somehow grow a horseshoe up my butt, maybe the Z will be repaired by then. But most likely, I'll be the only guy in the place with a C6!

dj,

Don and myself are leaving on that Thursday. He's coming from Antioch.
Pete and Bob may also be coming down that day. We should plan on connecting on 294

That's a great idea, I'd love to do that. But I'm going to have to split off pretty early from that route to go to Effingham to meet up with my dad. I'll have to hit 57, head south to Effingham, then finally head east on 64 and that's pretty far south in Illinois, so that'll be quite a bit out of your guys' way.

BUT, that would make for a perfect cruise come Mid America Funfest in September. AND I'd better damn well have my Z back for that!
