Did a run today with three of the local clubs out to Kelso CA, a small ghost town down south of Las Vegas.
Pretty cool.
Standing in the parking lot, a lot of talk came up about the ZR-1, and of course, I had to pipe up "I already own a ZR1". Dead silence after that, till they figured it out. LOL.
At first we stopped at Whiskey Pete's for Breakfast, you can see those pictures in the first half. I can spot my car, but you have to know where to look.
After breakfast, since I was the only one who had actually been down to where we were going, the ZR1 lead the pack. Only ZR1 in 30 cars. Lots of C5 and C6 ZO6, but the ZR1 lead them all.
In the second set of pictures, you can clearly see my car pulling in the lot first, and my ugly mug with the registry t-shirt on!
Actually had to explain to some 50 and 60 year olds what a ZR1 was. Shocking.
After the run, back on the freeway, a C6 ZO6 and I got into it a bit.
Odd when triple digits seems slow after a while.
:)
