Battery trouble

Got up this morning after a pretty cool night and found my AC Delco Pro battery shot craps :o . Three and a half years old with battery tender. Oh, well, no big deal right ? Have you tried to find an ACD battery lately ? Seems parts places have suffered through such poor service from the ACD folks, all have dumped the line. Even stores flying the ACD banner won't stock them. Comments were very negative about pricing, availability and warranty work. I now have an Interstate battery under the hood. Hate to not look fairly stock but if you can't buy an ACD, you can't buy one. Is this a Texas thing or is it widespread ??

I couldn't get an ACD at the local canadian tire last year - but didn't really think much of it at the time, lots of things are hard to find up here.
