View Full Version : Service Manual Recommendations?

I was about to make the purchase of this shop manual set from Helm Inc., then thought I should ask some of the more experienced members what they use.

Will this pretty much cover my needs or are there other manuals that I should add to the set? Is there a better manual out there that you recommend instead? I'm going to be trying to fix all but the most difficult repairs myself in the future...

Thanks!!

Jeffvette - I've seen your posts all over the board... we newbies definately appreciate the help. Thought I had the right one but wasn't sure if there was a better manual/source.

Sorry blackjack... I moved too fast. Ordered the set last night ($122 shipping included for those interested in similar purchase). Probably should have waited to see if anyone had spares laying around first.

Hi Scott,

You will need a 5" 3 ring binder for the Helms when it gets there. I just went to Office Depot and got mine. The LT-5 supplement is bound, but not FSM portion.
