View Full Version : Too bad there is more activity on Corvette Forum for the ZR1

I wish we could just get all the ZR-1 folks to migrate here. I keep checking this side for activity and end up having to post over there to get reponses. Oh well, maybe when we are full blown as an organization it will get more active. I know alot of the folks there are members though.

Just my thought for the day.

I think there is more activity on the ZR1net archive. On the home page click on ZR1 net, then on ZR1 archive to get to the e-mails. If you need to search for information on a subject the search feature works very well.

In general I agree Craig. Most of our registered users are on CF, and visa versa. However I think you have many different active sections on CF, and it attracts more people to post there. That combined with Corvette owners from every generation makes it the place to go for many owners.

sad but true. we should do a few mailings to get the folks posting over here more.

I hang out on CF too which is sad. lets do it. :-D

this is a ZR-1 ONLY board, and we need to rally the faithful to post here.

the list serve seems to be more popular, but we need to take full advantage of the services offered.

Alot of us post on the CVette forum prolly out of habit. Why don't we just try to kick it up a notch here ? All will benefit from bringing the post's here. Hey it IS OUR club as well.

we all gravitate and post where the new content is. once we get it over here, that will change. I will do my part, email your buddies, and lets get the forum cranked up.

wait till you guys see the newsletter, its killer. shirts are coming too guys, 05 the membership kits will ship and they are really nice.

let me know what you would like to see more of. we'll make it happen.

hey frank, tell me more about that green car, I'm really curious what all you had done at SGC. car is alive now and making tremendous power.

I am going to haibecks as soon as he can squeeze me in, hopefully before BG for the next round of mods.

cya!!!

Case in point last post here was over a month ago.

We all should make this our home page and check here before going to CF.

We have made a few changes to help stimulate posting, and it does seem as if we have more posts than usual. Part of it is habit, and the other part is expecting to get responses faster at CF, so it winds up being a vicious cycle. However, if most of you post here first and make this forum your primary choice for posting, then it will help break that cycle.

The Off Topic section has been bumped up right under the ZR-1 section, so feel free to post there as well.

Any other suggestions are welcome.

I think many are as a force of habit. Just try getting use to posting here and in the Off Topic section 1st, and things should start to pick up.

I came here before my purchase just to check it out and for the wealth of info on the entire site (which I really appreciate). I usually hang out at CAC. Since I got my vette about 3 weeks ago I check here more often and only registered a few days ago. I know I'll be here more often now.

Thanks!! :-D It's nice to find people that will talk to you about your car and explain things to someone without a lot of technical knowledge.

Hopefully the ZR-1 faithful will start to see the benefit of a specialized site. Until then, I will do both sites.

I think most of us post more on the CF, but it is getting busier here. All we need to do is wean ourselves away for CF little by little, and before you know it we will all be posting here.

I must have been sleeping over on the Forum, now knowing this forum existed on the ZR-1 Net. I found out when one of the members told a new Z owner that we had a forum over here.

Hello and welcome Boatman.

I am assuming you saw my post in the CF. I try to let newbies over there know about membership here, as well as our forum.

PM to follow in response to yours.

If it is easy to do, I will post boat pix. I am a Grady White fan. Presently in a 192 Tournament. Great fishing and cruising. Scaled down in boat size about 3 years ago. We have every kind of boat you can think of down here.
ZR-1 is 1990 black on black, 15,845 original documented miles, bought from original owner, with all maintenance records.
