I just added this monster. 1998 Vmax, 24k, carbon fiber paint scheme. Some of you bike nuts may remember when the Vmax came out in 1985. The introduction turned the motorcycle world upside down just as the introduction of the ZR-1 did to the auto world. It's performance was unparalleled for many years and I think it holds its own today, even against bikes weighing 150 - 200 pounds less. The bikes motor is also phenomenal, just as our ZR-1 motors are. Enjoy.

That was a nice bike. Not in the same class but I liked the Honda 650 with shaft drive. Would like to get my hands on crotch rocket like Honda VFR next.

I liked it from the beginning because it was its own motorcycle. Didn't run like any other bike, didn't sound like any other bike (and still doesn't), didn't copy any other bike. genuine Bad Azz if you know what i mean.

Thanks.

Beautiful bike. I bought an '86 new and had many years of enjoyment and close scrapes. Actually I'm somewhat surprised I survived.

I used to look forward to pulling up next to Ninjas and Hurricanes who didn't know what it was... kinda like being in the Z nowadays. Enjoy!

Couple more pics. They are both Legends in their own right.

I had one when they first came out. Great "Boy Racer" bike. At @ 4500 rpm the bike took off like a scalded dog. I miss it .

I used to have a VMax too. Talk about a motorcycle that excelled at inspiring anti-social behavior.
