View Full Version : Clear coating 1990 ZR1 wheels

Anyone tried to repair or strip and re-clear coat a 1990 wheel? No curb rash just some minor scrapes in the clear. Can't see spending $200+ to have them stripped and redone by a vendor.

Any suggestions?

I just had 20 wheels done by a new place, I was very impressed by their service, I am now working out a GROUP buy for wheel refinishing if you can wait a week or so until I get the details ironed out. (it will be for registry verifyable members ONLY)

Waiting a couple weeks is no problem.

What will you need to know to verify I am a registry member. Will my membership # do?
