hey all, i'm looking for the ZR-1 logo on the rear & some sides of our cars that i can copy or cut & paste. i have my share of memorobilia but it's like GM never used that in their ad's. i've got lots of the fast/slashed writing script ( like our NETRegistry one ) but i'm looking for the other one with the boe-tie. i've got an evil plan but i can't get started:icon_scra . any help would be great. i've surfed a bunch but can't seem to find anything usable/original. thanks:hello: . Flyin.

Are you looking for a photo (which I can send you) or a graphics file?

well either or...just something i can take to my sign shop. i guess a graphics file as you call it would be best. i don't want them to do any artwork or clean-up on the image if possible, just want to make it as simple as i can for them. besides our cars it's crazy i can't find this image anywhere. it's a good loolking logo IMO with the bow-tie & all.

Nice looking Z!

the logo is a decal just the stripe is paint. i did it so it is equal space apart & it continues around the corners. i can do a couple more pics but i wanted the first ones to be far enough away to grasp the concept & perspective of what i was going for. this side i've built is 10' tall x 15.5' wide x 38' long.

Thanks for the info. Did you produce the decals yourself?
My current garage was built in the 1920's and is rather crowded. I just broke ground to build a brand new 2-car garage. I wasn't planning to finish off the inside, but seeing your pics is getting me thinking. You have done a really great job there. I can tell from the lights that you are planning to display some stuff. I would like to see more pics.

ya, i had my decal shop that i deal with whip them up. i'm one of these guys that dosen't like to be in your face posting pictures kinda showing off, like look at me, look at me sorta thing. but if you guys want to see more i'm happy to oblige. i appreciate your interest & positive words, thanks. i'll work on more pics later today when i get home. i could never do this kind of thing because of my computer issues i have had but it seems o.k. finally.

Looks fantastic, thanks for sharing the pictures with us. I'm in the middle of painting my garage and adding lights shelves, a basic re-organization. Is there anyway we could purchase any of the large decals from your decal shop?

it would have to go through me because i had them do the set-up & art work for myself, but that's not a big deal. i feel the only way this deal of ours works is if we're in it together, right. so how bout' this...let's leave it for a few days & gage what kind of interest there is out in the community. i don't have a problem doing it but i'd rather do it once or twice rather than for each person individually. we'll see if anyone else is interested first, o.k.?
Goog Idea Ryan, What we need now is an approximate price and I think there will be some interest.

o.k. fella's here's the operation. i'll try to explain as simply as possible. this is as you walk into my garage. my Stingray sits here 99% of the time. my little office is kinda to the right.http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee142/flyinryan_ZR1/IMG_0550.jpg

this is if your standing with your back to my little office. most of what you see here i added on five years ago. if you look up to the pictures on the right that's the header for the original overhead door. on the top left that's a picture of me jumping over my cube/box van. i used to race professional moto/supercross. that's how i got my name, i was always looking for BIG air. the green Camaro under that shot is my uncle's, it's a REAL 69 C.O.P.O. car. he also has 69 L-89 vette, black on black, that's won a bunch of stuff, gold spinner etc.http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee142/flyinryan_ZR1/IMG_0553.jpg

more or less the same shot looking to the left. the red Stingray you keep seeing pop up is mine but every other picture hanging is a customer i've built engine's for.the engine on the stand is an NHRA legal super stocker. it's the only one in here now because i've been flat out everyday until 11:30 at night working on my addition & the dust on this side was brutal. i've got a lot of really good customers who have been waiting patiently for this to get done.http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee142/flyinryan_ZR1/IMG_0554.jpg

more junk. you can just see the opening to the new section to the right. there used to be a window the same size as the two straight ahead in that spot. i just cut'er straight down, the grade beam/wall in that spot was 10" thick & about 5' tall. as you look out those windows that's ground level at the window base.http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee142/flyinryan_ZR1/IMG_0556.jpg

this is the main area i build engines under the rubber mat. it's not uncommon for me to have three engines lined up nose to tail being worked on at more or less the same time. remember this is my hobby/sideline deal that's kinda got out of hand. taken on a life of it's own as it were. to the right is the opening of the new section. BTW i don't do any porting here, i have a room at my real buisiness for that.http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee142/flyinryan_ZR1/IMG_0558.jpg

standing in the same spot just looking a little to the left. the big thing with my FPS logo on is the old brick covered chimney. it wasn't coming down without a fight i was destined to lose. the shelf that runs around it used to be ground level.http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee142/flyinryan_ZR1/IMG_0561.jpg

trying to make the chimney disappear wasn't easy. if you knew what used to be there it turned out alright.those chrome things hanging are my pro-jacks for my Stingray. they are a bit heavy so i attached them to the brick before the drywall went on then lined it up & poked a few holes in the jiprock & slid a sheet over the hooks in one piece.   . i'm done. that's it. hope you all didn't mind. it's just too hard to grasp it in one or two pictures is the problem.:hello: http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee142/flyinryan_ZR1/IMG_0564.jpg

thanks very much, i appreciate it. yes i do spend a ton of hours in here so when i did the first part when i moved in five-five & half years ago i said i want to enjoy my time in here. i think the detail is a big part of my deal with engines. that & cylinder head/intake porting, oh ya also the fact that 95% of what i do is all on pump gas. looking at it i guess i do one or two things o.k. that people like. i don't advertise or promote myself at all, i just do what i do & people find me. it's grow into something i never intended. about 80% of my time is spent doing this & 20% at my real job, i've got good people there so i let them run with it & they call upon me when needed. i'll post a couple pics when i get the lift's & have the cars on them. thanks again for your positive comments:cheers:
