I am going to come up and try out your fine facilities this week . since lacr closed there is no place to go racin on a regular basis. it will be a 500 mile treck but i just got to try some stuff out . i know its short notice but thought id ask if anyone wanted to go racin . hope fully get into town find a motel then find the strip and have some fun:mrgreen: any suggestions on a place to stay or eat // ? hope to see some one there.:cheers:

Brad, be prepared for the possibility of some upgraded safety requirements there. You could possibly run the 11.49 you spoke of in another post. I think a jacket is required then, but check.
I ran a 70 Camaro in Fallon, NV that was running in the 11.80's at a track elevation of 4000 ft with DA's in the range of 6500 ft. I took it over the hill to Sac and with nothing more than jet changes ran 11.05's all day. It was Badazz to say the least. We stopped at Alston the morning of the race and my Computech read 780 ft BELOW sea level.
Be sure and post your times when you get home.

thanx for the info , boy should would be nice to do a mid to low eleven sec run . Ill borrow my buddies fire sui,t . but i think i need a roll bar also, anyone got a welder and some tubing (just kiddin ) . is the air always that good there ? :mrgreen: below sea level WOW

You know I am not sure on the air, that was April 1999 when I went there. i would think October air would be pretty damn good too. You could be right on the roll bar, seems it used to be 11.99 and was lowered to 11.49 as used to be the jacket requirement.
