ZR1 tranmission question

how reliable are the transmissions on the ZR1's, well they last past 130,000 miles?????? thx

It depends.....hard driving or in many cases the clutch slave cylinder leaking and not detected causes problems which require a rebuild. Symptoms are the gears grinding in 2nd or 3rd gear when shifting. Under proper care the tranny can last 130,000 and then some.
