Ive got '91 #1999 and I'm sure interested if someone has any knowledge of it's "heritage"! It's been used for sure. It has the Forced Air Package, plenum spacers and the shifter has a bit of a "notchy" feel but appears like factory, maybe a KWR modification?
Car is white/gray, it's been through Louisiana, Texas and found me in Wisconsin.

Welcome wvzr1 to the forum and ZR-1 ownership.
Post a pic of your new baby in the members section for all of us to see.
There is one other WI member with a White on White ZR-1.
Glad to have you aboard!!!
I would start your own thread on your vette heritage so all will see and do not miss your question.

Ron,

I don't guess this helps much, but just in case...Before I got my '93, I looked at a Black/Black '91 owned by a guy by the same name {Ron Corcoran}. Possibly the same car? I will check my old emails and see if I kept the vin# but I doubt I still have it, I have had mine nearly 4 years and best I can remember, this one would have been looked at ... at least a year before that. I just remember the name as it is a little unusual.
Sorry, just checked old emails and I did not save it. I am positive it was Black exterior but I am unsure about the interior, it may have been grey but I doubt it, I was really looking for Black/Black.

I have 76,000 miles on it - Completely stock engine except for a DRM chip and a Flowmaster exhaust. I just found a set of really nice original wheels that will go on shortly.
As for the color - The build sheet calls it Brilliant Red Metalic and the Window sticker calls it Dark Red Metalic - Thats the difference between the Marketing boy's and what production wants to call it.
So far its been a lot of fun and can't wait to Drive it to Bowling Green in May - Hope to see some of you there.

I am also keeping track of the 92-95's. Just too many 90's or I'd do them too. I started doing the 91's cause I have one and then added the 92-95's as there are only 1846 total built. It's just something to do when I am surfing around. I have all the cars from the Registry members listing for the 91-93's. I add the cars as they come up on various sites.

Here's my guess based on my list:
43 Bright Red 91's on the list
26 or 60% with red interior
10 or 23% with black interior
5 or 12% with sadle interior
2 or 5% with grey interior
So, I would guess out of the 634 Bright Red, 76 had a Sadle interior.

John - Try to save it as a PDF may be that might work if it won't let you attach a xls file. Thanks for taking the time of cataloging all of the 91's. I know that takes time and patience. It will be nice to see how many are still on the road.
P.S. - You mentioned that color 75U is 'Dark Red Metalic. My Build sheet calls it "Brillant Red Metalic. I had my favorite bodyshop look up a 91-vet. There is listed GM75 as Brilliant Red Metalic for a 91 vette - it consist of the following mix - MB583 - Maroon, PE804 - Red Pearl, MB576 - Brillant Red, MB883 - Maroon, MB563 - Bluish Black - This is the exact color match for my 91-ZR1 75U - The widow Sticker calls the car Dark Red Metalic, But the Build sheet calls 75U Brillant Red Metalic. I also had a bottle of dark red metalic mixed up - Yoy definitely do not want that color. Its like looking a Blood but with a metalic tint. If you go to your favorite bodyshop - Have them mix GM75 Brillant Red Metalic.
Thanks Again

Here's my guess based on my list:
43 Bright Red 91's on the list
26 or 60% with red interior
10 or 23% with black interior
5 or 12% with sadle interior
2 or 5% with grey interior
So, I would guess out of the 634 Bright Red, 76 had a Sadle interior.
My percentage numbers are similar, they include all the cars off your list also:
128 Red cars or 20.19% of the 634 Total built
75 or 58.59% with Red/371 Total
29 or 22.66% with Black/144 Total
14 or 10.94% with Saddle/69 Total
10 or 7.81% with Gray/50 Total
I'll post the rest of the results for the other colors in this format. I can't copy the above so will do it in a separate post.

Your percentages are really close to mine with a larger sample size. I also did the white cars from my spreed sheet and got very close to the same percentages. I think we can assume that the percentages that you have are very close.
If you want I can host your spread sheet on my website then you could easily insert it into a post.

Can't remember the name but it was in one of the later books with the updated numbers, will look at some old posts and see if I can find what the name of it was.
Here are the quotes from some posts over 2 years ago.
"BTW, there were 106 ZR-1s painted Turquoise in 1991. The ZR1 Registry still has the old incomplete numbers up."
"You should notice, both of those sites that list 94 as the number of `91 ZR-1s painted Turquoise also have 187 listed as unknown colors for 1991.

I got the 94's entered from the registry now and have done a comparison between the production shown on the Registry and the percentages from the spreadsheet. Hope the 91 estimates are closer, 'cause these aren't. The formatting gets screwed up between what is entered and what is shown, hope you can understand the numbers. Just follow the numbers between the top and bottom for the comparisons. Let me know if anybody wants a copy. I have 29.24% of the 94's accouinted for. That's a pretty good sampling.

#1639 is a black motor car, it seems it was black/black from the factory with a 41 paint code. What other info you need?
