Southeast Corvette Show / TrackTime/Drag Racing March 08

This is the FIRST annoucement of this new hopefully yearly event. I am hosting a ZR1 gathering in conjunction with the Mid Alabama Corvette Club March 8th at the world famous Barber Motorsports Park in Birmingham, Alabama. On Saturday there will be Corvette shows,displays, judgeing, vendors and ON TRACK DRIVING SESSIONS (must be pre-registered). Then on Sunday we will be renting the local 1/4 mile drag way for private all day drags! We will call this the "Corvette Weekend of Speed" . Corvettes from ALL generations are invited to participate in both the shows and track activities. More details and online regisitration will be posted on this thread soon but MARK YOUR CALENDERS NOW! This show has been put on locally for years but we are now stepping it up. We would like to see a strong ZR1 turnout as ZR1 specific activities will be planned.
