Can you beleive the cheesy pop up video ads on the forum , that is exactly why I wanted to keep this forum open, so we wouldnt be at the mercy of the forum.

I agree. The one ad on the orig post is probably just the start of a slide to a forum that looks very commercial. Oh well, thats progress.:rolleyes:

One of the first things I noticed was the extra ads at the bottom of the page a few months back including ebay links. It seemed pretty hypocritical to forbid forum users to post ebay links, yet have them on the site. Obviously, they created a cash cow, and whatever principles they started with went out the window for the lure of money.

This is the true forum of the ZR-1, and while we might make changes and will do things to improve it, we will never sell out our forum members.

The truly interesting thing is that the email address in the posting is not a valid email address.
I've sent two emails from two different accounts late last week and they both bounced.
