My first attempt at a post on the ZR1net, I've been around Corvettes for awhile the firt ZR1 was a Red/Red 90 sold it a few years ago and have been looking for a 93 40th, I found this and decided it would do. Some information published possibly on this site indicates the car was originally built for one of the Kerbeck brothers. I believe baed on the documentation I have it was originaly ordered by Gary Konner of Malcolm Konner Chevrolet. I have the original window sticker and some original factory paper including the build sheet and invoice. Only option other than the ZR1 package is a blue removable glass roof panel.

This car has not been on the road since 2005 as the inspection sticker expired on April 2005 :icon_scra Nice looking car, though:thumbsup:

Definately a cool car to pick up. I know a few poeple have been wondering where that car was.
What did you pay for it?
Also wonder where the yellow on red car is as well.

Thank you guys for posting my pictures, I don’t do computers well at all. =D>
I bought the car in Texas, the owner kept it in a climate controlled garage with 6 other Corvettes so it did not get his full attention, the inspection sticker is expired, but the car has been maintained and driven regularly; I’ve put about 350 miles on it so far with no problems or issues appearing, we have no inspection in my home state so I do not have to have it inspected and I have not transferred the title yet so it still has the Texas plates. Current mileage is just under 11,000. A friend of mine sold this car to the owner I bought it from. I was talking to my friend about the search for another ZR1 preferably a 93 40th he reminded me about this car, I remembered the car from when he owned it so I did a little research. The owner I bought it from was a long time friend of my friend and they both are Corvette guys and take good care of their cars, so I decided it would fit the bill.

I'll bet you were not that far off in being able to post your pictures. Feel free to ask for assistance either here or via PM.
I think you have made a good purchase, and it does look like it has been cared for.

Nice looking car. Congratulations!
Other than the Grand Sports, I didn't know you could get a red interior with Admiral Blue.

Hi guys. I post over in CF as Meanmz1 and will try to start posting here more.
Anyway, I wanted to congratulate Rsignor on his aquisition of the lone Admiral Blue/red car. That is quite a find!
Somebody mentioned the other lone color combo, the Competition Yellow/red car.
I have friends in the Classic Corvettes of Minnesota club that know the owner of this car. His first name is Warren. I will have to prod for more info, but I assume that the car is here in MN or at least the area.
Again, cool car, Rsignor!
Welcome!!!! email sent.

wow...that's quite a car. That combo is definately something to be seen rather than heard in order to fully appreciate it. My parents ordered their 02 z06 yellow/red interior; which to me sounded disgusting, but much like yours I totally changed my tune after a glimpse.
