Bowling Green 2008

Okay, as many of you know, I am not one to stir the pot, ....BUT....:mrgreen:

I was wondering, what was the final decision on Bowling Green 2008.
Is the date, for sure moved?? Will it be in conjunction with the ZO6 crowd?
It is so difficult for the members that actually have to work for a living,
to make these events, it would be nice to be able to plan ahead.
Is it possible to start a thread here with options? That the group as
a whole could vote on.
(and i mean the people that actually show up)
not the ones that throw their .02 in, knowing they will not attend.

Looks like mother day BUT I am close to closing a deal for the first ever "Weekend of Speed" in Alabama, in conjunction with the MACC (my local corvette club) in March we are having a HUGE Southeast Corvette cruise in , ON TRACK time at the WORLD FAMOUS Barber Motorsports :cheers: Park on Saturday and a Private Corvette only Drag strip Rental on Sunday (1/4 mile track) stay tuned for details by next week. This will be in March 08.

Other dates were looked at, all of them no good, we are going to have to make the best showing we can for Mothers Day... Mom's get a free pass at Beechbend! (not a guarantee, read rules and restrictions, not emplying services are greater than services provided by other posters, void in PA, winner must be present)

Bob Hall, called me this week, to chew the fat, we were discussing
Bowling Green, Bob , I am pretty sure has been to every event.
Anyhoo, he said, they moved the date from Mother's day, to improve
participation 4 years or so ago.
Although, my mom, is deceased, If she were alive, I know I would not
have attended. Are there no alternatives, I don't wanna beat a dead horse. but unless something is agreed upon, the event, will be less
than desired. and none of us want that.
It looks like BG might be the only event, I can attend, so i want as many
of you yahoo's there, to have fun with.
