Hey Adam!
Good luck and take your time. Sucks to have to backtrack if you forgot something.
These sites are very helpful:
http://www.pnwzr1.net/PNWZR1.htm
and
http://www.bcvettes.org/
look up LT5 teardown and how to.
You might want to consider replacing the vacuum hoses under the plenum.
Kurt White sells a kit- not cheap but all there.

The service manual is also a must.
Good luck,

just to give you options on the vaccume /pvc valves. the one kurt sell go for 25 ea for atotal of 50$ 2 elbows . i went down to napa and found 1 water hose with 2 bends THE right size for 12 for both as i used 1 hose and cut the 2 bend out of it. curt hoses are factory correct but i dont have 40 extra bucks to through away. just to give you the choice / you should also retorq the inj housings and the breather box(the thing that the vaccume hoses are connected.. id yank the starter and clean the drain for the valley .Ill bet its plugged. main thing is take your time its really not very hard at all .if ya get6 stuck i know we will help:mrgreen:

While your under there you should check for loose bolts. You may be very surprised, I know I was. For some reason I have found dozens of loose or missing bolts on my LT5. Mostly in the oil pan and crank breather assembly under the plenum.

I'd say drain the coolant and change it. Easier and more preventative than sopping coolant out of the injector housing air passages.
