finely found it! had leak right front of engine leaking on frame and going everyware.after checking oil pan',the lower timing cover bolts were loose but not the leak.lower right front of engine it's called oil pump access cover bolts were loose.tighten bolts leak gone.gm manual supplement page 6a2a-6 #423 is the cover.it's a real :censored: bear getting to but you can from the top. hope it helps.:cheers:

Second time I've heard of this leak. Thanks for posting a problem solution. Too often, all we get to hear about is the problem and the recommended fixes only.

I looked up page 6a2a-6 #423 and couldn't determine exactly where this cover plate is located on the engine. Can you please provide a few more details or maybe even a photo?

I have a leak too, but haven't gotten to it yet. It bothers the heck out of me, but I don't know enough about the LT5 and don't want to screw anything up!

I have a leak too, but haven't gotten to it yet. It bothers the heck out of me didn't think AB cars leak:p

Another leak source in that area is the oil low pressure sensor just above the arrow. When it leaks the oil runs down the wire so it may not appear to be what is leaking. It is not shown in the 90 manual and is not the same as the one located on the right front of the motor. The sensor turns on an idiot light below the speedometer.
