Count for Carlisle

hey guys....

I posted this under the CF forum, but wanted to post it here too.

Carlisle grows near(Aug 24 thru 26th) and wanted to get a count of who is coming and who is thinking about it. Thus far our #'s are VERY strong(according to Lance) and I know many will make reservations late, but wanted to get an idea.


FYI We have JeffVette, Tyler and Marc Haibeck definite on attending the show(just to name a few).


The hotel we have booked is nearing capacity, so please book now so we don't have to find overflow rooms.

Go to the home page for details on the hotel and the Prototypes GM is loaning us.

If anyone has trouble getting rooms @ the Day's Inn, email me.

Question:


Would anyone be interested in helping out volunteering by cooking burgers for lunch friday and saturday? (maybe one day?) The Registry is going to be giving free food to members for lunch and we need a good GRILL MAN!


Also: Friday afternoon Adams (wax) will be having a clinic to show how to take car of our Z's and picking a few Z's for FREE (yes free) details. They will be picking out Z's that are garage kept, but in need of desperate loving in order to show how well their products work.

Adams is also giving away free samples and giving away a few door prizes to our members as well!

I will very likely bring the Red Sled for one day. Probably Saturday. Rain or shine. It got soaked in Kentucky. Why not Carlisle? I guess we're talking mud though eh?

Planning on coming in Thurs. or Friday, where is everyone going to be gathering? Are the cars in the grounds or in the parking area? Flying in so will be on my own to find everyone. Do we need to do anything special?

yes we are in the ZR1 area (make sure you specify you are with the group when you make reservations).


Middle of the fairgrounds. Let me know if you need hotel reservations, we "should" have some rooms left @ $99 I hope.

My daughter lives near Philly so we will fly in and go to Bordentown dealer auction to buy a car to roll around and / or may buy something at Carlisle to bring back to Fl. Will many guys will be around Thurs?? If not I will come over Friday & Sunday as I treck back and forth to Philly area.
Let me know if any other guys need ride from that area to fairgrounds!

I already have 2 ZRs but never pass a good deal!! Figure the best buys will be Thurs or Sunday as in the past so I may see you then. Being a Pgh. native I have done this before!! How's PaPa Joe going to do this year??
