Please have patience with me as I am very new to owning my 95 ZR1. I just found out my car has a DRM chip (I thought it was a Haibeck). Anyone familiar with the settings on this chip? I did a search here but did not find much. The car seems to be in full power mode all the time, but the power light is on sometimes and other times not. In fact, the power key seems to do nothing as the power is great regardless of how I play with the key. The light issue could just be a loose bulb in the dash, but I am curious if anyone else here has a similar issue with a DRM chip. Any data on the DRM settings would be greatly appreciated as well. Thank you!

If you send it to Marc Haibeck he can tell you exactly what the parameters of the chip are and can provide a better upgraded chip. Give him a call and he can probably tell you what he can do for you, likely just make you a new and better chip. The DRM is likely an older chip and I am pretty sure that Marc would tell you that there are a number of settings that they did that are different from what he does and not optimum for your Z. His chips are better, I assure you. --Bob
Still a very new owner myself, I will be buying a Haibeck for the 91. O complaints with anything just know that it will optimize anything that can be optimized on an all stock set up, resulting in max enjoyment, and that is value for dollar right there. Mark is the man. Being from Canada I have to wait until my mortgage is approved since it is going to cost about 35,000 CDN by the time it arrives here. Still gonna be worth it!
Haibeck Order placed and the new prom is on the way for the 91. Literally out the next morning with a late afternoon order. Pretty professional group to deal with over at HAT. As mentioned no issues but this should be the best optimizer for a stock set up. Will advise how it goes. May take a while to arrive given our location. Not sure how any duties or tariffs will affect delivery and cost. Dry ice undercarriage up next once mountain passes are cleared of gravel and paint correction is completed.
If you want to send it to me, I can read it and tell you what is different about it and send it back to you.

Haibeck EPROM for the 91 arrived after a couple weeks, no tariff or duty coming into Canada. Very straight forward install. I finally got a chance to take the Z for a quick spin a couple days ago and all of the listed performance attributes are as Marc says. Pretty much optimizes a stock set up. Cant wait for a longer ride opportunity.
