Bob,
I had to wait until becoming a senior citizen to see the Eagles finally win a Super Bowl in February 2018 against the GOAT and Belicheck. ( Although I remember (now fondly) freezing at many a game as a child with my Dad in the early 60's leading them to their first "Championship" ) at Franklin Field. My view somewhat obscured by the post in front of my seat, and the hubcaps being stolen from our 57 Plymouth during the game, but the thermos of hot chocolate made all good.

I was lucky enough to watch that 2018 game with my son in the warmth of our family room and will never forget our mutual disbelief at what we had just witnessed, especially "Philly-Philly"!!!

This year I had different concerns. My son, Bob now is an engineer at GM at both Warren and Milford, and of course had to become a devout Lions fan, even though his love for the Eagles remains understandably strong. Bob played football for 8 years in high school and college, and we both remember his team playing against the Chiefs running back Pacheco at a high school game. Pacheco was something to see even back then!!

I feared a very problematic playoff between the two teams DTW and PHL....
(oh, thank you Lord!!! )

To again witness a game such as last Sunday's was simply such an outstanding gift, I am near speechless. ( I said, near.......)

A long way from the Santa/Snowball incident and the memory of the court and jail cells beneath Veterans Stadium required to deal with the many drunks and fighters in the stands.

While we felt good for Andy Reid last year, we like this outcome FAR better!

Some great memories Marty and I agree it was good to see the Eagles win. But you're going to face an issue when the Eagles play the Lions I fear. Kind of like the issue faced by Mrs. Kelce. But good you are both strong fans. And you may be in the driver's seat with Bob because the Lions have lost there two best assistant coaches. We'll see what happens. --Bob
