I suspect I may have a failed brake booster check valve causing front brakes to lock-up. Prior to putting my clumsy hands on this piece I thought I'd ask for guidance here.

It appears the valve would just pull (or twist) out of the booster housing easily.... can someone verify this to be the case? I am hesitant to jump into this without some confidence that I won't damage the valve or booster.

Should I expect the valve to simply pull from booster easily? Any feedback would be very much appreciated!

Please disregard....this is another case where a bit of WD-40 goes a long way.

Check valve pulled right out but unfortunately it seems to be good.

Ah yes, good old WD-40. As a friend used to say, "Where would we be without WD?" Here's a old ad for that famous product.--Bob
