View Full Version : Is "shift" light in the ECM tune somewhere?

For a 94 is the stock shift light on the dash programmable in the ECM tune, or part of another module? I realize it isn't the best and I'll likely get something standalone down the road, but hey it's there so why not? :)

Interestingly GM turned it off on all the later service calibrations. Not sure why.

Ah! I thought maybe a previous owner had removed the bulb from my dash as I had not seen it yet. :cheers:

If you want the shift light to come on above 6375 rpm, you have to change the operating code to read the ROM address for Rpm/31.25 rather than RPM/25, which maxes at 255(d) or 6375.
