Air Pump Hose - Slides Off

Air pump large hose slides off when tightening the clamp.

Removed air pump to get to the upper shroud 7mm screws to replace the radiator.

Push the large, approx 2 inch air inlet hose onto the electric air pump. When the clamp's tightened, it slides off.

Blocked hose with a piece of wood underneath and same thing.

Only thing I can think of is us RTV and let it set up overnight.

1st try this morning and the hose stays on the air pump input when clamp tightened.
