I thought I would share with the group something I have found that works incredibly to clean and brighten cast aluminum. It?s called Aluma Bright from Bosh chemicals. You can find it on Amazon.
I used it 50/50 with water on some LT5 castings. I could even dilute it more. Sprays on, let it sit. Scrub lightly if desired, then rinse it off with soap and water. Don?t let it dry and rinse very good.
For those of you cleaning engine parts or control arms, etc, give it a look.
