Does anyone know if the stock GM replacement wires for the ZR-1 are red?
I am doing the injectors this week and am going to change the wires right away, but wanted red ones. I am only taking the stock ones out to save them but love the red look.
I talked to the dealship last week and they can get them for $60, but he did not know if they were red or not. Anyone know?

Try ebay or white racing.

GM replacements are red. Should they come in different and you don't want them just return for refund or don't accept.

Ok thanks. I thought I saw somewhere that they were red but was not sure.
The dealer can get them in a few days, so I will order them tomorrow and hopefully have them by wed so I can do the injectors that day.

They are red. They do not come numbered. Just lettered with AC Delco.
I have them in stock.

Well I call my parts guy and he is going to call to verify that they are red.
He should be able to get them to me by wed, so I can work on it then. I want to get this thing running by Thurs.

Taylor makes just about any color availabe. I have red on the 91, blue in the 90. I have a couple of blue sets sitting on the shelf in the garage. I have purchased black before. Dennis purchased some orange ones for his but ended up not using them. I have a source for Taylor's if anyone is interested!

Not a bad idea.
That $650 price mentioned is absurd and I doubt he sold them or will be able to sell them unless he comes down a few hundred. Sounds like someone trying to be greedy at their own expense.

I kinda think that $60 price for the newer ACDelco lettered wires is a bit high. Maybe my memory is off though, but I thought I got them around $30-40? Anyway, they are a perfectly fine wire and look stock from 3 feet away.

I put the new Delcos on my car and agree, they look stock from a few feet away. Have to say the car seems to run better too. Figured I'd pull off the originals and keep 'em. - Keith
