Probably just the lighting on the hood and fender panel.--Bob

This is the $101k ZR-1 from two years ago.

The yellow one above was shared on Facebook over the last year as it was revived from sitting in a garage for many years. I love these stories!

I'm a sucker for the yellow vs. the blue, but both are completely awesome and would love to own either. Both are also now well-sorted.

What do you guys think the blue one will bring now? Feels like prices have fallen a little, and not at 2022 levels. A '93 40th with 8k miles in mint condition ended on BaT today, sold at $46k. I thought it would have brought over $50k before fees.

A couple observations on the 40th on BaT...it is, no doubt, a beautiful car but, I think the condition of the chassis held it back. Another strike, as crazy as it sounds, is the mileage. At 8K, it is going to have started accumulating rock chips as well as scrapes on the chin spoiler. I do believe that 2,000 miles v. 8,000 miles makes a sizable difference in price.
The ZR-1s with uber low miles in factory fresh condition, including the chassis, will continue to bring 'good' money. Of course, those that also have factory and dealership docs will bring the most.
I think the 40th on BaT lacked the condition and presentation to hit the big bucks.

Hi Mark - yes, that makes sense. I see what you mean. Agreed, that the no-milers will continue to bring the most. Thanks for your post!
