I'm building a restomod 62 on a Corvette Corrections chassis with all C4 components. Engine is new LT5 never cranked, and I have adapted a 4L70 auto trans. Now mounted in chassis, no body. Would like experienced person to lead us thru startup procedure. No idea about electric hookup required. Must simplify wiring to work with 62 car. I'm in Houston, Texas.

Give Corey Henderson at Henderson Performance Automotive in New Braunfels Texas a call, hes the closest to you. Failing that I'd call Marc Haibec for advice.
Personally, i would just gut a wrecked ZR-1 and adapt the wiring/ECM/Dash etc..

Thanks, Crabs. I've met Corey, a smart engineer and builder. I'm considering him even tho a couple hours away.
Best wishes

If we still live in Sugar Land, TX I'd be glad to come by and help you out. I've been dreaming about project like this. 1962 Corvette restomod with aftermarket chassis, modern Corvette suspension, and LT5 power. Been looking for awhile for the right car to start with. Already have the engine, transmission, and most of the suspension Good luck with the build and keep us posted as it progresses.
