Spotted at Mecum today. One of my FL friends sent me this picture. 4 new engines.
2 of them are NOT new engines
Lot U97.6 is NOT a 1993 engine, tested @ MM Aug 20, 1992, probably 1992 engine
Lot U97.4 is NOT a 1993 engine, tested @ MM Oct 24, 1990, probably 1991 engine

These have been around and for sale for years. I doubt they will be a bargain, if they sell at all.

Mecum auction is ongoing this week in Kissimmee, FL where my buddy took the photo. As A26B posted (sorry I don't know this user's actual name), at least two of the lot numbers, so you can probably go to the mecum website and figure out whatever you want to know. Buyer beware, if I understand A26B's post, they may not be exactly as they are advertised to be.

They are part of the estate of Rick Treworgy?s collection, owner of the closed Muscle Car City Museum on Floridas west coast. There are 60 lots up for auction including 30 C1 and C2 Corvettes and the four Lt5?s. They are scheduled for next Sunday?s Mecum auction.

A26B is Jerry of Jerry's Gaskets, a fellow who has been around a long time and is extremely knowledgeable about everything ZR-1. And a good guy to boot! If you ever need parts for your ZR-1, go to Jerry first. --Bob

The one in the wooden crate sold for $7,700 and the other three sold for $6,600 each. These are the results posted on the Mecum website so probably before Buyer's Premium.-Bob

Appreciate it.
