Hello all, I'm trying to track down and hopefully be able to purchase my step dads old 1992 ZR-1 Corvette at a fair price. He passed a while back and the family member that received the car had sold it sometime in the past. The car was from the metro Kansas City, MO area and probably sold in the metro Kansas City area as well. Pictures included. Any help tracking this down would be greatly appreciated.

VIN: 1G1YZ23JXN5801045
Color: White
Engine Mods: Haibeck 350 painted white
Transmission: 6-Speed manual
Wheels: Had 5 spoke chrome last I saw it

I believe the current owner of this car is active here. He attended the Gathering in 2017 or so and I talked with him briefly while we were doing touring laps at the Motorsports park.

Looks like Bobby Anderson's car. His forum handle was Bobbyhi. GC

I did some digging and found the car I was thinking of is 1992-0180. It was at the 2019 Gathering, not 2018 as I recalled. Not sure there can be many white 1992s with a white Haibeck engine, but it?s possible there are 2. The interior of 180 is tan, by the way.

Bobbyhi has not been on the forum for a while. I thought something had happened to him and the car was sold..

I'd ask that everyone not name who they believe to be the current owner, rather only pass along information that someone is looking for this ZR-1.

HOWEVER, this is not a valid VIN. Please post the correct VIN and I'll assist finding the owner, and passing along the information.

Regards,
Mark

While we do not know which ZR-1 the OP is searching for, I do know the owner of 1992-0180 is not willing to sell his ZR-1, and requests his information not be provided here on the Forum.

Mark

Bob Anderson's car was a 90 and had the 57th? state rockers. He was the first ZR-1 brother I met after getting my car. Great guy and so sad we lost him.

First time back in awhile.
And what do I see?
49th street Rockers!
Da*n, they look GREAT!
They look awesome when seen from the rear like in that one shot!!!
Will someone please re-produce them?
I have the 49th street front spoiler / air dam somewhere in my basement.
Merry Christmas!
Marty
