Relocating the DIS module

Anybody ever relocate the DIS module to get it away from the heat? Wouldn't be difficult,get a couple of electrical connectors and make some wiring harnesses.

Finding the larger connectors mate in wire form would be difficult.



out of all these cars out there I believe the failures are very low.



Where would you move it to?

Jeff my basic question was going to be why? -=JEFF=- is right as these are pretty resilient except when folks bend or break the pins. I could not imagine hanging it on a fire wall per se.
