Would it fit? And if yes, which tire size would be needed?
I have a chance to get a set of OEM C6 C06 wheels and considering the shortage of OEM size tires my idea is to replace the Sawblades with later generation Corvette wheels.

Matt,
If nobody chimes in with a definitive answer, I can just try swapping between my two cars.
Should have time within next few days.

You mean like this?

Rear looks pretty good. Front offset looks a touch further out than ideal.

I?m using 18mm hub and wheel centric spacers for the rear. Also, GM Racing studs due to need for longer studs.
The fronts are stock. They do come a bit past the front fender line but do not rub. How far out the tire edge is depends on several factors. The tire itself and the brake discs. I am using Z06 brakes both front and rear. My brake discs are Coleman 2 piece for weight reduction while the aluminum hat helps to bring the outer edge of the tire further inboard.
Currently using Michelin 285x18/325x19 PS4S.

Thanks for sharing the experiences. I'm afraid with my local regulations I won't be allowed to use the fronts. They can't exceed the width of the wheel wells.
Too sad.

I heard C5 Z06 wheels work well instead.

Unfortunate it is. One of the members here first tried on a set and posted the pics of them on his black ZR. I immediately knew those wheels were meant for the
ZR-1. The Shelby?s would be my second choice. A friend of mine had a C6Z and so we tried them on my Z.
I never looked into an aftermarket set w the correct offset for the front which would be another possibility. Mine are OEM.

do they make those in the aftermarket with different offsets?

Think they do altho it may be that they aren?t available in ZR-1 offsets. Hiwever, the offset for the ZR isnonly different for the rear. The 84 has the same iffsets as the ZR-1.
