I ordered new wipers from Rock Auto. The listing was Trico 600202.
I received NAPA 60-020-2. They are a perfect fit.

That's a good bit of info to know. Thanks for posting.
Matt B - you mentioned in another thread you got some from Rock Auto that did not fit - what was that p/n?

I think it was ACDelco 82191. They're too high and get stuck under the hood.

I allways recommend the ANCO 14-series conventional windshield wiper blades (metal frame) for the C4... 19" or 20" long. They are very slim and fit perfect under the hood.

I've been using NAPA 60-020-2 for years and the fit is perfect for our car hoods.

Can it be that there are differences across the hoods GM built or maybe an alignment issue hood<->windshield?

C4 hood alignment was a major issue from the factory. Look at any number of C4's and you will see a lot of variation in the quality of the alignment. Most noticeable along the front edge of the hood versus the nose fascia. Not too sure about the fore/aft variance, but the left/right variance is pretty bad. I took the time to center mine.

FYI. Later C4 changed to s smaller diameter pin on the wiper arm. Not sure the year. N? size does not fit all.

Wouldn't it be best to use original blade holders and put new refills in?

This would be the best situation I would think. Trouble is, a lot of the cars have had the original holders removed at blade replacement.
Took me a long time to find an original set of holders for my '90.

Occasionally, Rock Auto has them on sale for as little as $1.39 each!
Last time I bought 12 of them! Some are branded Anco, others NAPA,
same blade though. Exactly the same as the originals.
Probably won't need new blades for a few years?
I'm sure they're old stock but a quick wipe with silicone fixes that.

Buying the refills...no problem. As a matter of fact, they will allow more clearance than the originals. It's the 'holders' that cause the issues.

I bought several sets from RA a couple of years ago. Wipers don?t wear much when u don?t use them.
