Hi All,

I've had Irene for a while and she hasn't run right. Very rich to say the least, and fouls out plugs very quick, not mention poor gas meilage etc. I've already taken her to DRM, Dempsey, Corvettes of Auburn and tried finding a tuner around the Manassas area. She has higher lift/duration cams and head porting. Otherwise all the fresh coilovers, paint, race seats etc are kind of a waste if the car isn't running right. Seems like most Corvette shops just work on C5 and newer.

Hi, have you spoken with Marc Haibek at all? It would not surprise me to find out he has prepared a car with very similar mods and have a tune in his files which would get you very close. I know he pulled such a rabbit out of the hat for me. Then it would be easy for you to send your chip in and have him retune it.

I ended up sending mine to Mark for the tuning along with other work needed.
Night and day difference. A pleasure to drive and cruise around in.

While seeking Haibecks advice is a great idea, you're probably located closer to Graham Behan in KY. Graham, if you don't know, was one of the original Lotus engineers that developed the LT5 engine. He now runs his own shop in KY. He is more than capable of resolving your issues. Here's his info...
