You have to give them credit for thinking outside the box.
I wouldn't do it, but to each his own!!

Marty you knew the reason before you ever typed "Why!" :)
Cars are an art form to a gearhead,
"Have it Your Way" to a burger lover,
Base jumping & free climbing to a thrill seeker,
No beans in Chili to a Texican,
"and the beat goes on" to a musician,
etc.......

The LT5 is a work of art just sitting there..... Before the Tupperware generation.

I recall an LT-5 in a 57 Chevy a few years ago also.
An LT-5 in a 58 corvette with farm tags was running at Summit Point Race track 10-15 years ago. That one was not a show car.

It is - and will always be - one of the (if not THE) most beautiful engines ever built!
When you say "V8" the LT-5 is what it means :)
And now one lucky Chrysler is refined by it. Cool stuff!

I?m going to give you a pass on that one since you are from Germany. But it is a Pontiac.

Damn, of course you're right and of course it's a Pontiac!
Glad we're in a GM group so my blasphemy hopefully won't hurt too much!
