90 91 Interior gunmetal trim color near exact match

My first post and I wanted it to be something of value. I already shared this info on the Facebook page. It took me a while but I finally got time to touch-up the interior gunmetal gray trim of my 91Z. There was a post last week on FB about finding a matching color for the ash tray lid and it just struck me that the color was eerily familiar to the Competition Gray on the wheels in my previously owned '12 GS. I found the touch up paint and first tested it on scrap plastic. When dried it looked like it near matched if not perfectly. The color itself is for an 87 Oldsmobile since they didn't have for the C6 GS either but it matched perfectly for the C6 GS Competition Gray wheels. I've posted a collage from different angles of pre and post touch-up...top pics are pre, bottom pics are post touch-up with the original order. I don't know if the prices are the same since I ordered them a few years ago. They send you a good amount for touch up and I figure if you want to redo small pieces there should be enough.... anyhow I hope this helps.1906919070

I just touched up the spots that were scratched /flaked off so I didn't mess with the lettering. The 87 Oldsmobile gunmetal gray color is a perfect match in my opinion. The rest of the trim was in great condition so I only did the trouble spots. Later I'll figure out the orange color and make a stencil for the lettering just in case. :thumbsup:

Thanks for the info. Stingray just purchase the paint made a mock-up on a existing item looks great.

This is GM paint code WA9243 according to that website.

looks good for the touch up areas, I have some center consoles that need paint..
