For my 1989 ZR-1
Hoping to put together a complete set. I've found the rears so, looking for the fronts L&R.
Will put a set of tires on them for storage and driving.
Put this on the Corvette Forum site, also.
Thnx,
Mark

Mark there was a set of these that sat on EBay for years. Is that where you picked your rears? Daryll

I got the rears from a registry member, here. I am going to drive over to PA and pick them up when I get off my current 'round the world trip😜
Currently in Tel Aviv but leaving for Shannon tomorrow. After that, it's on to Dublin, Paris, Warsaw, Bangor, San Bernardino then...home. I'll get three days off then off to Tel Aviv...again.
I knew after retirement at American, life would be easy😁

Well the fronts on a 90 were the standard cars rear wheels. I'd figure you'd need a set of rears off of any 88-89 to be your front wheels.

Total aside. Who goes to San Bernardino? Hardly ranks up there with the other places on the list?

Still have a pair of rear tires if you are interested.

I'm delivering a Boeing 767 to a paint shop in San Bernardino that was converted to a cargo jet in Poland.
What are the date(s) and condition of rear tires?

PS. If you find a set of four NOS and only want the two, I will buy the other two.

It is just that San Bernardino is my home town. I remember as a kid watching watching the cargo planes land at Norton AFB. Talked my way on base once to watch a SR 71 take off. Fuel poured out the back as it ran down the runway into a dense fog.

The tires were presented to me as display tires. Never run. They are still mounted to '89 wheels. I just will never use the tires. They are like most early parts. Very rare amd almost nobody has a need for them. You are welcome to call me at 949-795-6250. George

Yep SR 71 was designed that why as they did not seal until altitude and almost immediately needed a refuel in the air. Fantastic machine.

A buddy of mine at the airline transitioned from the U2 to the SR-71 in the Air Force.

Sorry If I did Id let you know, I'm just saying the fronts for a ZR-1 are most likely a 88-89 stock rear wheel.
