I contacted the PO of my 90' car and the fuel pumps have never been changed. I am thinking I should replace them as a preventive measure.
I believe I will use the Delphi FE0039 pumps unless someone knows of a reason why I should not.
I wanted to ask if there is anything else you would recommend replacing while I am making the pump swap.
Thanks for sharing your wisdom.

I switched to single pump after I bought the billet Y connector from Carter @ CT Machining. This replaces the brittle plastic Y that will crack and leak in time. You can do a search on the forum for more info. 18358
$75 shipped in US.

Craig, do you have more than one of the Y fittings? Is that something you put together yourself or can it be purchased?

Thanks for sharing your wisdom. You may want to consider the complete plug n play single fuel pump conversion kit one of our fellow owners offers.
It's nice, easy to install and eliminates most the issues the dual pump design has.
If you consider 2 new Delphi pumps, socks, Y adapter, submersible fuel lines and new clamps the difference isn't too big.

Carter makes the "Y" fittings. He is here on the forum as Carter200.

Sorry, I guess you should have been given first dibs as a reply to your inquiry. As mentioned, Carter sells them here or email him at: ctmachining@gmail.com
As Matt mentioned I would go with the single fuel pump with stainless housing and all brand new parts. I just assumed you were trying to keep it original.

Who should we contact?Flyman 27 is the one to get in touch with. His kit is also on ebay if you want to see pictures. But better to buy from him directly instead of making big tech even richer ;)

Pics don't do justice to it. It's a beautiful piece. Carter does amazing work.

Its a lovely piece. I don't need one per se, but it looks like a wonderful reliability upgrade for a questionable design choice from GM.
Only sad thing is, it's so pretty but you can't see it buried in the tank!

Very much true... BUT! Every time you open the gas filling door that little pretty piece of stainless steel shines like a diamond.
Even in times of high gas prices it makes fuelling the car easier - as beautiful lips make it easier to kiss them ;)

I didn?t realize anything was visible one it was installed. Bonus!
