It would be nice to have a little history on the car as to how Wayne ended up with it. Does anyone know if it was at auction recently? I know one sold at
Carlisle not too long ago.

Marty,

How strong would you say the ZR market is now?

Observations as of July 2022

Down a little bit from the highs of Sept 21 through Mar 22.
However, stronger than it has ever been since early 1990 when they routinely were going at 75 -100 new.

Extreme Low Mile cars keep coming to market, but less and less.

Quality Mods are no longer the step child they once were, many times being requested now.

NCRS / Bloomington Turn Key cars with full updated docs and ALL Maintenance verified with docs command the BIG $$$.

If Selling, now is the time.
If Buying, now is also the time.
Rare both happen at the same time.

C-8 price softening is beginning to affect earlier models. This will intensify over the next 12 months.

However, all series from C-2 through C-7 are higher than they have been.
Biggest jumps were in C-7's, then C-6's, then C-4's, and yes our beloved ZR-1's.

Hope that helps.
BTW, I get more and more calls on C-4 ZR-1's than ever.
That evidences interest is up among the general car crowd.
That never used to happen.

Marty,

Very interesting comments. Enlightening that modded ZRs aren?t viewed as ?bastardized? any longer. Why do u suppose that is? And does a name like Haibeck, and a few others carry additional ?weight??
