Parking brake light. 93 zr1 . Parking brake light does not come on with lever .
It does however light up for a few seconds under hard acceleration in first gear ??
So the light is good. Something loose or ground problem ?
Any have any experience with this ?
Thanks guys.

To troubleshoot parking brake light, I would start with checking the switch which is part of parking brake lever.
As for the brake light lighting up briefly, are you sure it?s not the main brake warning light? Possibly triggered by low brake fluid in the reservoir?

Didn?t realize the light was used for brakes as well will check level asap .

Quick check of owner?s manual tells me ?park? on the cluster refers to parking brake engagement and ?brake? refers to braking system.

Level was down just a little. Topped it off and will take a ride tomorrow and see if light is gone .
Thanks for your help.
I will doing a search but anyone have any advice on refinishing throttle body. Powder coat ? Has the common blistering on top.

To do it right, best would be to send it off to Marc Heibeck. It has to be disassembled, exusting finish stripped followed by powder coating or painted.
Also, the source for blistering has to be addressed. I suspect blistering is from galvanic corrosion due to coolant going through the throttle body and presence of current. I have bypassed the throttle body and corrosion is not an issue anymore.
