Is anyone familiar with Warren Michigan Neighborhoods?

My son is looking to buy or rent in or near Warren Michigan.
We have never been there.
Looking for some guidance on neighborhoods in and around Warren.
One possible area is between Chicago road and E. Thirteen mile Road.
Time sensitive.
Any help or comments appreciated!
