new acrylic top

i was surfin usa, in the used parts on corvette forum, came across a
zr1 guy, wanting to sell his acrylic top. He stated it was in very good
condition, stored for 15 years. He posted a couple of pics, I contacted him. Sent him the money order, it arrived today...IT's brand new.
no mark's, nothing. has the original gm sticker. looks new.
I'm a happy camper, now back to your regularly scheduled programming.

Glad you were able to get yours. This was the gentleman that I had brokered the deal in JAN for his white top in the corvette forum. I posted an ad and he replied but I was asked to wait for April until he got his car out of winter storage (no big deal). The agreed upon amount was $250 which I thought was great! I checked in every month about every three weeks to make sure the deal was still a go. After asking again this month (May) he told me his car was stolen hence no top. Sounds like a real nice guy but man what a bummer and its why my search continues. I may have a lead in PA that im working on the moment.
