One of the reoccurring problems with LT5 parts is that they are often incorrectly lumped into crossover PN's with base model 5.7L engines, which as we all know are not the same.

Charlie's post above, is indicative of the problem. The correct PN shows up in the description, but the photo is clearly not the correct valve.

Such is a common circumstance for the subject PCV valve, GM 25098197 and ACDelco CV913C. Compounding the problem... the GM Parts manuals have the LH & RH PCV valves reversed.

Here is a picture of the PCV valve correlating to the foregoing PN's.
Note the unique, "double step," whereas the RH valve is shorter & does not.
It has also been produced in bright metal finish.
