Black 1990 ZR-1 on BaT

Anyone see the 2400 mile black ZR-1 on BaT. Car's paint looks awful because it has been stored outside. Who stores a low mileage ZR-1 outside?

How black paint should look...like a mirror. One commenter said there where just 71 black ZR-1's with red interiors for 1990. Is that correct? I haven't seen many photos of others.

Wow! Amazing!! Without looking it up, I have not seen many and it?s a nice combo. I wish I could get my black to look like a mirror one day.

I checked the members only section and confirm that in 1990 a total of 71 ZR-1's were black exterior with red interior.

and only 2 in Black/red have C60 AC, if I remember right

EDIT. I did not look to see if the one on Bat was C60 or C68, mine is a 90 Black/red C60

Thank you. It's been a lot of effort getting it & keeping it that way. I will never own another black car...lol.

I attended the Bloomington Gold meet, the summer of 1990. While attending the Special Collection, at the Bone Student Center, I saw a Black/Red 1990 ZR1. I promised myself I would, one day, own one. The car takes my head to a happy place.
I don't have to drive it, it's simply a time machine.
We all enjoy our cars as we each see fit.

I've been known to be pretty dense, at times.
I just looked at the window sticker for my 1990 Black/Red ZR1 and it's a C60 car. It was mentioned previously in this thread, that color combo with C60 could be pretty rare.
Probably a good reason for that😁
