My windshield wipers do not make contact with the windshield and touch the hood. I bought new wipers trico 20-2 for my 90 as people suggested. I just received them and they look exactly the same as the pair I have on the car where they won?t touch the windshield. They are bowed and the arms do not make them sit flat on the windshield. I then looked at the arms themselves. They are marked trico so I don?t think they are the original arms and might be the wrong ones causing the blades to sit high not contacting the windshield. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I live in Florida and it?s impossible not to get caught in the rain once in a while so I need wipers working ASAP. Thanks

I went to the parking lot and tried to take some pics for you...... I've taken better. But your wiper arms should rest on these clamp like fittings on the windshield. They should click in when not in use, and your blades should be nice and flat.

I have the trico blades and have no issues, but having lived in Florida, I feel your frustrations. My only other suggestion if you cant get it solved......... Rain X.

I got tired of streaking and two wiper colliding, folding up and jamming against the hood edge and eventually went to Trico NeoForm beam type. Also, reduced the length by 1".
If you are not into NCRS, I highly recommend beam type. Just make sure it clears the hood before slamming the hood. A lot of variations between cars.

Thanks. Rush91 Can you take a picture of your arms closer to the the vin #. Mine is riding on a plastic little shelf on both sides which I believe is causing the arms to be to high. I would take a pic and show you however I haven?t learned how yet.

Thanks. Mine look exactly the same as picture one where it rides on the plastic little shelf with the wire cover making contact. I think my are original arms as my car only has 4500 miles and l believe it 100% stock. Maybe the end of the arms just need to be bent down a little. The arms are keeping the wiper up. Anyone had to bent their stock arms? Thanks

WantaKoth, I?ve had the same problem. I?ve successfully adjusted the wiper arm transmission on other C4s but couldn?t make them park correctly on the Z even after consulting the factory service manual. I ended up taking the parking ramps off and adjusting the arms to park where they should, lower than they would with the ramps on. I tossed the ramps into the rear storage bin for safekeeping. The wiper blades could snag on the bottom edge of the windshield when deployed but it hasn?t been a problem so far on mine. Your mileage may vary.

From what I can tell, there is a pivot point on the transmission I?ve somehow overlooked that will fix the parking problem. I haven?t identified it yet and am going to leave the wipers alone unless they start to give trouble.
