We have a block of 15 rooms at Boomerang Bar & Grill where we stayed last year. We have 13 rooms with a single bed and 2 rooms with 2 beds. All beds are Queen size. The rates for us are $65 + tax for the double bed rooms and $55 + tax for the single bed rooms. They require a $50 credit card deposit for the room when you make your reservation. The deposit is refundable if something comes up provided you cancel 72 hours in advance. Rooms are clean, basic, with TV and wifi. Food and bar are great and they have both indoor and outdoor space. 110 Limekiln Road, New Cumberland, PA 17070. It is 21.2 miles from the fairgrounds (27 minutes if you go the speed limit......not). Blasting down the PA turnpike is good for the soul.

Great, looking forward to meeting you. If your taking a single, Steve and I both have singles so we are down to 9 single rooms and 2 double rooms. Guys, don't wait to make a booking as Carlisle and surrounding areas will sell out (many are fully booked now) and many increase their prices that week.

I will be there but I am not staying at the same hotel as I will be with a few other friends. I will be arriving mid morning on Friday and staying a night then leaving sometime in the afternoon on Saturday. Hope to meet all you gurus.

I'm booked for Thurs-Sat... thanks for putting this group block of rooms together, Charlie! Can't wait to finally get to this event and to catch up with everyone after being away for a few years!

Update: As I was registering, I decided to bring my '95 Callaway instead - just not 100% certain there won't be some small issues with the ZR-1 as it comes out of long-term storage. So, I';; be bouncing between the ZR-1 and Callaway areas throughout the weekend (but still just as excited about catching up with old friends from here, and will try to link up with the WAZOO group for the drive up!)

We leave WA state on 10 July and should be arriving in MD on 16 July, but priorities will be putting the house together and getting situated in our new jobs/schools. I'm confident that I'll get the car out of storage, but not certain that it won't have an issue or two to work out - having the time will be the problem. If I can convince my wife to join me, we might just bring them both!

Looks like my son "might" move into the dorms at UMBC on Saturday the 28 or Monday the 30th. I don't know which, as confusingly, new students are Saturday and returning are Monday. But, he's a Sophomore that has not lived on campus yet. So, returning?? New?? Who knows? Either way, my hope is to spend the day at Carlisle on Friday if he moves on Saturday. And spend Saturday if he moves Monday. So, no multi day hotel vacation for me :( I will plan to bring some food to share on whichever day I can attend.
